Use links with clear notations and descriptions.

Links, or Hyperlinks are connections to another page or place on the web page. "Jumps" to other places on the same page are referred to as targets or anchors or bookmarks - depending on which web software you use. 

Which link best describes the action needed AND what?

Click Here For more information about the fish, go here. Click on the Red Button

Click Here:

Why should I "Click Here?" This hyperlink doesn't tell me anything at all. And if your page is full of "click here" imagine how annoying this will sound being read by a screen reader.

Click on the Red Button:

If you can't see the button or the color red, how will you know?

For more information about the fish, go here. 

This makes more sense, and promises to link to a page with more information about the fish and not to an unrelated page.
