- The Accuplacer mathematics placement test may be taken only once. It will determine your placement for the first mathematics class you take, and should be taken seriously. If you do not feel prepared to take the math placement test at this point, then you are free to leave and take it another day.
- In order to test into credit level mathematics, you should anticipate that the placement test will take at least one hour.

If your original placement is MAT 010 or MAT 011:

If your original placement is MAT 012:
To be able to retake the Accuplacer math test you must complete ALEKS - "Prep for College Algebra, an online mathematics tutorial program". For more information click here.
- Once you have started taking developmental math courses, all courses must be completed in sequence. You cannot retake the Accuplacer math test after you have begun the sequence.
- You should start taking your math courses within your first year, especially if you have
multiple math courses to take.
